Co-founded Palantir in 2003 while still at Stanford, then Addepar. Founded 8VC in 2015 in Austin. Co-founded the University of Austin and the Cicero Institute, a policy shop pushing state-level legislation. A major Republican donor. Early money in Anduril, Saronic, Epirus, and Chaos; the second node of the Thiel network.
